ENEL-Split d.o.o. has developed a mobile application for the records of febrile persons that provides guidelines for the treatment of changes in body temperature.

FEBRI (abbreviated from Febrile).

This application provides guidelines to treating body temperature changes.

The FEBRI application can help you with the guidelines it offers – but it is only an informative application and as such it CANNOT REPLACE PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, OR A DOCTOR’S DIAGNOSIS; And especially not in situations where a doctor’s visit is needed and/or urgently needed!

The application’s scope of guidelines can be applied to persons of age 0 to 100, therefore, for all ages regardless of gender, nationality, race or geographic position!

Body temperature can be elevated beyond normal or reduced below normal.

Hyperthermia is a condition where an individual’s body temperature is elevated beyond normal due to failed internal thermoregulation (Fever), it is defined as a body core temperature over 37.0 °C (98.6 °F).

Hypothermia is reduced body temperature that happens when a body dissipates more heat than it absorbs. In humans, it is defined as a body core temperature below 35.0 °C (95.0 °F).

The following information should be entered:

– Name (12 letters)

– Age

– Weight

– Measured body temperature (28°C – 42°C axillary – armpit)

You have to check at least one symptom from list SYMPTOMS!

Different types of thermometers can yield different results. You’re considered to be running a fever if an oral, rectal, ear or temporal artery (forehead) thermometer registers 38°C (100.4°F) or higher. If you use an axillary (armpit) thermometer, the temperature reading will be around 1°F or 1°C lower, so anything over 37°C (99.4°F) would constitute a fever.

The application is available on the Android platform: FEBRI: treatment guide – Apps on Google Play

The application is free to download.

The number of users and the number of measurements is unlimited.

The application contains graphical representations of this database.
